SHUSHYBYE Child Development

Shushybye School will soon be in session!

Fans of Shushybye know that Shushybye School (located in Nap Valley) is where SNOOZLES, DOZIE and ZEEZ go to learn how to make dreams.  Very soon, Shushybye School will also be a warm and caring place for all children to attend - where they can sit in class alongside their favorite Shushies and learn all about the world around them.  Shushybye School is a series of meticulously-produced child development DVD's that share early childhood learning - along with original Shushybye music and characters!  Stay tuned for the debut of Shushybye School (taught, of course, by Shushybye School teacher, Ms. Eve Night).

SHUSHYBYE is fun and entertaining for children - and also enlightening, informative and inspiring.

The main Shushie character SNOOZLES serves as the entry point for children as they begin their journey towards challenge-solving. By traveling back to SHUSHYBYE with Mommy, Daddy and SNOOZLES, children discover helpful solutions to life's daily challenges. First day at school, visit to the pediatrician, new sibling coming into the family, sharing toys, preparing for special events - these are all important concerns for children, and SHUSHYBYE is the land where they can discover real-world solutions. Their guides are SNOOZLES, DOZIE and ZEEZ, who gently reveal solutions through plot discovery.

Of course, SHUSHYBYE helps children appreciate the healthful importance of sleep.

Says SHUSHYBYE's very own media sleep expert, real-life professional nanny Kathy Sinclair: (www.babiesadvantage.com) "SHUSHYBYE helps parents prepare their preschoolers for sleep - and helps children learn important values and discover loving solutions to life's challenges. Preschoolers love SHUSHYBYE because it offers fun books, catchy original songs and adorable toys. At the same time, parents love SHUSHYBYE because it offers them help in preparing their little ones for sleep each night."

"After a day filled with activities, preschoolers are oftentimes reluctant to 'switch off' and automatically head to sleep. SHUSHYBYE provides day-long fun, where parents can encourage their children to think of the dreams they'd like the Shushies to make them for that night - and give their "Dream Wishes" to SNOOZLES. The next morning when you ask your child if they enjoyed their SHUSHYBYE Dreams, you will be delighted to hear her positive response!"

Music also plays an important role in making SHUSHYBYE a day-long shared parent-child DEVELOPMENT experience. Each original SHUSHYBYE song is especially composed to combine 'classic rock'-style music that parents will enjoy with preschooler-friendly lyrics that always emphasize how fun sleep can be. "A nighttime ritual is oftentimes the ideal sleep preparation solution for preschoolers. SHUSHYBYE is a nightly interactive routine where parents can read SHUSHYBYE adventures and play songs from the SHUSHYBYE original songs. Then it's all topped off as the child cuddles the SHUSHYBYE toys," adds Sinclair.

SHUSHYBYE is also an effective and nurturing discovery vehicle for children on a wide array of social developmental skills.

"SHUSHYBYE makes sleep-time a day-long experience and makes sleep an experience children can look forward to," says Sinclair. So next time you tell your children its bedtime, you might just say instead 'It's time to go SHUSHYBYE!'"
